The US Food and Drug Administration has approved SpectraCure's IND application and determines that it is safe to proceed with the Phase I/II Clinical Studies, which is to target patients with recurrent prostate cancer. If everything runs in accordance with the plans, the clinical studies will be carried out during 2012 in collaboration with North American clinical sites.

SpectraCure has applied to the British Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to co-sponsor a clinical study on pancreatic cancer in the UK. On the February 15th MHRA approved the notification. 

SpectraCure has submitted an IND application to Food and Drug Administration and CTA to Health Canada to get regulatory approval of the planned I/II clinical studies.
